The scope of work for Bess Concrete included;

• Footings
• Ring beam
• Internal ground slabs (7,132m²)
• Post tension freezer structural slabs (4,120m²)
• Fish processing area ground slabs (500m²)
• Plant room ground slab (235m²)
• Office ground slab (120m²)
• Mezzanine slabs (120m²)
• External pavements (7,000m²)

A flat floor with a steel trowel finish was specified by the client and builder for the freezer and other internal wearing slabs. Due to complicated access the freezer and other internal wearing slabs were completed using traditional hand screeds and bullfloats. A Sicaltop hardening compound was spread by hand over the freshly laid slab. It was then left to our experienced finishing crew to deliver a finished product that exceeded the client’s expectations.
